Check AI answers before you use them

AI can write something polished that is still wrong — and it can’t vouch for its own accuracy. A quick check saves an awkward correction later.

1. Check it against the source: does the document or email it summarised actually say that?
2. Confirm the important facts yourself — names, dates, numbers, prices and recommendations.
3. Ask what’s missing. What would change the answer if it were left out?
4. Click every link or reference it gives you. Make sure it exists and says what the AI claims.
5. Take extra care with legal, tax, financial, medical and technical advice, and never run a command you don’t understand.
6. If it’s going to a client, a person reads the whole thing before it’s sent.
