Hide sensitive notifications on the lock screen
By default, codes and messages can show on your lock screen for anyone nearby to read. A quick setting hides the content until you unlock.
- Open Settings → Notifications.
- Set previews to ’When Unlocked’ (iPhone) or hide sensitive content (Android).
- Pay attention to banking, authenticator and messaging apps — those previews leak codes.
- Confirm a one-time code no longer shows in full on the lock screen.
- Keep biometric unlock on so reading your own notifications stays quick.
