Flush or change your DNS
DNS turns site names into addresses. Flushing clears bad cached entries; changing it can fix sites that won’t load.
- To flush, open Command Prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns, then try the site again.
- To change DNS, open Settings → Network & internet → your connection → Hardware properties.
- Next to DNS server assignment, click Edit and switch to Manual.
- Turn on IPv4 and enter a public DNS, for example 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google).
- Save, then reload the site; revert to Automatic if anything stops working.
