Record your screen with audio
For a quick how-to or a bug you want to show, a screen recording with narration says it in seconds. Windows can do this built in.
- Open the Snipping Tool from Start and switch to record (video camera) mode.
- Click New and drag to select the area of the screen to capture.
- Turn on the microphone option if you want to narrate, and check the level.
- Click Start, do your demo, then click Stop.
- Click Save to keep the MP4, which lands in Videos → Screen Recordings, ready to share.
