Pair and use a Bluetooth headset
A Bluetooth headset frees you from the desk, but pairing and the right mode trip people up. Here’s the clean way.
- Put the headset into pairing mode, usually by holding its power button until the light flashes.
- On Windows, open Settings → Bluetooth & devices and click Add device → Bluetooth.
- Pick the headset from the list and let it connect.
- In your meeting app’s audio settings, select the headset as both speaker and microphone.
- If audio sounds muffled, it’s in a music-only mode; select the headset’s hands-free or headset option, not the stereo one.
