Roll back my whole OneDrive after ransomware or a mass change

Files Restore rewinds your entire OneDrive to a point in the last 30 days — the lifesaver after ransomware or a bulk mistake. Don’t start deleting first.

  1. Stop using the affected device and don’t delete anything — you’ll need the history intact.
  2. Go to OneDrive on the web, click the gear → Restore your OneDrive.
  3. Use the date slider and the activity chart to find the moment just before the damage.
  4. Review the listed changes to confirm you’ve picked the right point.
  5. Confirm to restore — OneDrive undoes the changes back to that time across your files.
  6. If it’s a SharePoint library or you’re unsure, stop and call whedo.it before acting.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
