Use virtual desktops to separate your work
Virtual desktops give you extra clean workspaces, for example one for email and one for a project. Nothing is installed.
- Press Win + Tab to open Task view.
- Click New desktop at the top to add another workspace.
- Drag a window onto a desktop thumbnail to move it there, or open new apps while that desktop is active.
- Switch quickly with Win + Ctrl + Left/Right arrow.
- Close a desktop with the X on its thumbnail; its windows move to the desktop on the left, nothing is lost.
