Pin, unpin and tidy the taskbar

The taskbar should hold the handful of apps you use daily, not whatever Windows decided. A two-minute tidy-up.

  1. Right-click any open app on the taskbar and choose Pin to taskbar to keep it there.
  2. Right-click an app you don’t need and choose Unpin from taskbar.
  3. Drag pinned icons left or right to reorder them.
  4. Right-click the taskbar → Taskbar settings to hide the search box, widgets, or chat if you don’t use them.
  5. Under Taskbar behaviours, set alignment or auto-hide if you prefer more screen space.

Still stuck after those?
