Share my screen and give someone control

Screen sharing shows your screen or a single window; giving control lets another person drive. Share the narrowest thing you can.

  1. In the meeting toolbar, click Share and choose your whole screen, a window, or a specific file.
  2. Prefer sharing a single window over your whole screen so notifications stay private.
  3. To hand over, click Give control on the sharing bar and pick the person.
  4. They can now click and type on your shared content until you take control back.
  5. Click Take back control, or Stop sharing, when you’re done.
  6. Close any sensitive windows or notifications before you start sharing.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
