Set your default printer

Windows likes to make your last-used printer the default, which causes jobs to land on the wrong device. Lock it down.

  1. Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
  2. Turn off Let Windows manage my default printer near the bottom.
  3. Click the printer you want as the default.
  4. Click Set as default.
  5. Print a test page to confirm jobs now go to the right device.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
