Record a meeting and find the recording afterwards

Recordings save automatically to the cloud so attendees can catch up. Knowing where they land saves hunting.

  1. In the meeting, open the More (...) menu and choose Record and transcribe → Start recording.
  2. Everyone is notified that recording has started — there’s no secret recording.
  3. Stop it from the same menu, or it ends when the meeting does.
  4. The recording saves to OneDrive (for a chat meeting) or the channel’s SharePoint (for a channel meeting).
  5. Find it afterwards in the meeting chat, or in the Recordings folder of the relevant OneDrive/SharePoint.
  6. Share it like any file by setting a link permission — it doesn’t auto-share outside the attendees.
