Print double-sided (duplex) on demand

Most office printers can. If yours can’t, you have to flip manually.

  1. Press Ctrl+P to open Print.
  2. Look for “Print on both sides” or a Layout option.
  3. Pick “Flip on long edge” for portrait documents (the normal one).
  4. Pick “Flip on short edge” for landscape (like a calendar).
  5. Print.
  6. If you don’t see the option, your printer doesn’t support duplex — you’ll have to print odd pages, flip the stack, then print even pages.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
