Print in black and white to save colour
Colour toner is dear. Forcing greyscale on everyday documents stretches it a long way.
- In the app, choose Print (Ctrl + P), then open Printer properties or Preferences.
- Find the colour setting, often on a Colour or Quality tab.
- Select Black and white or Greyscale.
- To make it stick for everything, set the same option in Settings → Printers & scanners → the printer → Printing preferences.
- Print and confirm the page came out in mono before sending a big job.
