Respond to a conditional-access prompt

Sometimes sign-in stops to check your device meets policy before letting you in. Usually a quick fix you can do yourself.

  1. Read the message; it usually names what’s needed, such as enrolment, an update, or a compliant device.
  2. If it asks you to register or enrol, open Company Portal and complete the steps it shows.
  3. If it wants an OS or app update, install that, then try signing in again.
  4. If it asks for Authenticator approval, approve the matching number on your phone.
  5. If you’re blocked with no clear action, screenshot the message and send it to IT rather than retrying endlessly.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
