Dial in to a meeting by phone or call an outside number

Where phone calling is enabled, you can join meetings by phone or ring external numbers from Teams. Availability depends on your licence.

  1. To join a meeting by phone, use the dial-in number and conference ID in the meeting invite.
  2. Dial the number, enter the ID when prompted, and you’re in the audio.
  3. To call an external number from Teams, open Calls and use the dialpad if it’s shown.
  4. Type the full number including area or country code and press call.
  5. If there’s no dialpad, your account isn’t set up for outside calling — ask whedo.it.
  6. During a meeting you can also ’Add’ a phone number to call someone in.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
