Use clipboard history to paste older copies

Windows can remember the last several things you copied, not just the most recent. Handy for repeated paperwork.

  1. Press Win + V to open clipboard history.
  2. If it’s the first time, click Turn on to enable it.
  3. Copy a few items as usual, then press Win + V and click any earlier entry to paste it.
  4. Pin an item (the pin icon) so it survives a restart, for things you paste often.
  5. Use Clear all in that panel to wipe the history when you’re done with sensitive text.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
