Use clipboard history to paste older copies
Windows can remember the last several things you copied, not just the most recent. Handy for repeated paperwork.
- Press Win + V to open clipboard history.
- If it’s the first time, click Turn on to enable it.
- Copy a few items as usual, then press Win + V and click any earlier entry to paste it.
- Pin an item (the pin icon) so it survives a restart, for things you paste often.
- Use Clear all in that panel to wipe the history when you’re done with sensitive text.
Still stuck after those?
