Use Teams inside AVD
Teams in AVD needs the optimised mode to handle audio and video well, or calls stutter. Mostly an IT setup, with a few user checks.
- Open Teams inside the session and start a test call from Settings → Devices → Make a test call.
- Confirm your microphone, speaker, and camera are the right devices in those settings.
- If video is choppy or audio echoes, your session may not be running optimised Teams, which is an IT fix.
- Plug headsets in before connecting to AVD so they’re available to the session.
- For important meetings on a weak connection, dial in by phone as a backup or join from your local PC instead.
