Print from AVD to my local printer

If local-printer redirection is enabled on your AVD config (most are), your printers appear inside AVD automatically.

  1. Inside AVD, press Ctrl+P in any app.
  2. Look at the printer dropdown — your local printers will be listed, usually with “(redirected)” after the name.
  3. Pick the local printer, set options, click Print.
  4. Don’t see redirected printers? Sign out of AVD, close the Windows App, reopen, sign back in.
  5. Still not there? Redirection may be disabled on your AVD policy — email Warren to enable.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
