Use colour categories and flags to organise mail
Categories tag items by colour so you can group and find them; flags mark things for follow-up. They work across mail, calendar and tasks.
- Right-click a message and choose Categorise to apply or create a colour category.
- Rename categories to something meaningful (Client, Invoices, Urgent) the first time you use them.
- Click the flag icon on a message to mark it for follow-up, and set a due date if you want a reminder.
- Sort or filter by category using the column header or the Filter/Arrange options.
- Flagged items also appear in your To Do list and Tasks for a single follow-up view.
- Clear a flag by clicking it again, or mark it complete when done.
