Get my email signature onto every device

Signatures are usually stored per app, so a signature on your laptop won’t follow you to webmail or your phone. Here’s how to keep them consistent.

  1. Set your signature in each place — classic Outlook stores it under File → Options → Mail → Signatures.
  2. In new Outlook and Outlook on the web, set it under Settings → Mail → Compose and reply (this one syncs between them).
  3. On your phone’s Outlook app, set the mobile signature separately in its settings.
  4. Assign the signature to new messages and to replies so it always appears.
  5. Keep the wording identical across devices, or use a roaming option if whedo.it has set one up.
  6. For a company-standard signature applied automatically to everyone, ask whedo.it about a server-side signature.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
