Find and use a shared mailbox I’ve been given access to
Shared mailboxes (like accounts@ or info@) appear automatically once whedo.it grants you access. You don’t need a separate password.
- Wait a short while after access is granted — it can take up to an hour to appear, then restart Outlook.
- In the folder list, the shared mailbox usually appears automatically below your own.
- If it doesn’t, in new Outlook or the web use ’Add shared folder or mailbox’ and type its address.
- To send as the mailbox, click From in a new email and pick the shared address (you may need to add it once).
- Replies sent this way come from the shared address, not your personal one — check before sending.
- If you can’t see it or send as it, contact whedo.it to confirm your permissions.
Still stuck after those?
You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
