Get a legitimate email out of quarantine
Mail caught by spam filtering sits in quarantine, not your inbox. You can release genuine messages yourself, within limits set by whedo.it.
- Open the quarantine notification email and use its link, or go to security.microsoft.com/quarantine and sign in.
- Find the message in the list and select it to see why it was held.
- Choose Release to deliver it to your inbox, or Request release if your policy needs admin approval.
- Tick the option to report it as a false positive so the filter learns, if offered.
- Note that items quarantined as malware can’t be self-released — those go to whedo.it.
- If a sender’s mail keeps getting caught, add them as a safe sender as well.
Still stuck after those?
You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
