Recall or undo a message I just sent
Recall only works when both you and the recipient are inside the whedo.it organisation, and only if they haven’t opened it yet. External mail can’t be recalled.
- Act quickly — once a message is read, recall fails and the recipient is told you tried.
- Open your Sent Items and double-click the message you want to pull back.
- Open the ... (more actions) menu and choose Recall, or in classic Outlook use Message → Actions → Recall This Message.
- Choose to delete unread copies, or replace it with a new message.
- Watch for the recall status report — it tells you per recipient whether it worked.
- For external recipients or anything already opened, send a brief follow-up correction instead.
Still stuck after those?
You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
